How I Practice

My Approach

Sessions at Quiet Medicine are calm, spacious, and centered on gentle craniosacral therapy. We begin with a brief check-in, then move to the table, where most of our time is spent—unhurried, focused, and hands-on.

My role is to create the conditions your nervous system needs to soften, unwind tension, and settle. Nothing is rushed or forced. Your body leads, and we follow its pace.

We close each session with a few minutes to check in and integrate before you return to your day.

My Role as a Practitioner

I bring clinical training, research experience, and attentive presence to this work. As a naturopathic doctor with a background in integrative medicine, I understand how stress, illness, and injury shape patterns in the body over time.

That knowledge informs how I listen and what I notice—but it doesn’t drive the session. I don’t try to fix everything at once or override your system with plans or protocols. Instead, I meet your body with curiosity, patience, and respect for its pace.

This approach shapes how I use naturopathic medicine within the work we do together.

How I Integrate Naturopathic Medicine

Craniosacral therapy is the primary modality I use, with my training in integrative medicine guiding how I notice patterns and what I pay attention to. The work itself is hands-on, slow, and focused on calming the nervous system.

I don’t create complicated treatment plans or overwhelm you with advice. Instead, I offer small, focused guidance based on what becomes clear over time and what you identify as most important. There is no pressure or expectation to take on more than you can realistically hold—every suggestion is meant to be meaningful, practical, and sustainable.

What to Expect Over Time

Meaningful change happens gradually, as your nervous system learns what safety and support feel like again. Each session gives us a chance to see what settles, what opens, and where your system wants to go next.

Many people benefit from a small series of sessions to build momentum, giving the body time to:

  • release tension patterns
  • settle the nervous system
  • integrate changes
  • build trust and familiarity
  • reveal what’s most helpful next

I prioritize attentive, unhurried care over rushing to follow trends or compete with the latest protocol. One meaningful recommendation, offered at the right time, is more effective than trying to do everything at once.

Choosing a Session Length

New patients begin with a 90-minute session, giving enough time to settle in, understand what your system needs, and move into the work without rushing.

For return visits, you can choose the session length that feels most nourishing that day. All sessions follow the same gentle pacing; the difference is simply how much time your body needs:

  • 60 minutes ($100) — a contained, focused session
  • 75 minutes ($125) — spacious and balanced; a good fit for most people
  • 90 minutes ($150) — the most unhurried option for deeper unwinding or exploration

Choose what feels right for you in the moment.

Who This Approach is For

This work is designed for people who want a slower, more attentive approach to care—those living with chronic illness, long-standing symptoms, or nervous systems that are easily overwhelmed. It is for anyone seeking a grounded, hands-on experience that meets the body where it is, helping tension and stress settle, and allowing space for healing at its own pace.
