If something isn’t answered here, I’m happy to help. You can reach me at nathan@calmthebody.com
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a slow, hands-on approach that works with the fascia, cranial bones, cerebrospinal fluid, and the nervous system. The touch is gentle, quiet, and supportive — helping the body unwind tension patterns, settle, and shift into a more regulated state.
Craniosacral therapy often helps with pain, chronic tension, and symptoms related to nervous-system dysregulation. People come in for many reasons, including chronic illness, autonomic imbalance, headaches, concussion recovery, ME/CFS, Long Covid, POTS, MCAS, EDS/hypermobility, trauma patterns, or simply to help their system settle and orient toward ease.
We start with a brief check-in. Most of the time is spent on the table, fully clothed, with light touch. I listen to how your system is moving — where it feels tight, stuck, overworked, or depleted — and support it in finding more ease, space, and rhythm.
When you schedule an initial session you should receive and email to create an account in Charm. Please follow instructions to create an account and log in to that system. Once logged in you should be prompted to complete 4 questionnaires. Please complete those before the visit. If you are not able to complete this online please call or email me before the visit time. Either way, try to arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to give yourself time to settle before our appointment time.
Every system moves at its own pace. Some people feel shifts after one or two sessions; others need a slower unfolding over several visits. We’ll decide together based on how your body responds, not on a fixed protocol.
If you’re looking for care that is gentle, quiet, hands-on, and helps you slow down, this work may be a good fit. It’s especially helpful for sensitive systems, chronic symptoms, and anyone seeking a calmer, more regulated baseline.
If you’re unsure, you’re welcome to come for one session and see how your system feels afterward.
No. Craniosacral therapy and naturopathic medicine are not covered by insurance in Minnesota. I don’t have the ability to change that, but insurance companies and legislators do.
If insurance coverage matters to you, I encourage you to contact your provider and elected officials and ask them to make this work accessible.
I don’t offer a sliding scale. The fee allows me to do this work in a way that works for me and the people I care for.
If you’re seeking no-cost support, I volunteer at ME/CFS Clinic MN in Edina, where care is available at no charge.
My primary work is hands-on craniosacral therapy. As clarity emerges over time, I may offer simple, strategic naturopathic guidance — but only when it feels supportive and manageable.
If you are looking for a full integrative or protocol-based naturopathic practice, I may not be the right fit. If you’re seeking a calmer, more spacious form of care, you’re in the right place.
Yes. Craniosacral therapy is gentle and non-invasive, and it integrates well with most medical care, physical therapy, mental health treatment, and rehabilitation.
I always encourage people to continue working with their existing providers. My role is to support your system’s steadiness, not to replace your medical team.
Yes. I welcome people living with complex, long-term, or severe chronic illness — including those with limited energy, mobility, or sensory tolerance. Craniosacral therapy is gentle and adaptable, and I tailor the work carefully to your level of sensitivity while still offering meaningful therapeutic support.
I do not offer home visits at this time, so you would need to be able to come into the office. If getting here is manageable for you, you can absolutely receive care, and I expect the work to be helpful. My approach focuses on slowly unwinding severity rather than overwhelming the system — creating space for steadier, more sustainable change over time.
Initial session (90 minutes) - $150

No. I do not take credit cards. My current operation is too small and it helps keep cost down.
I accept cash, check or Venmo for payment.
You can schedule online anytime through the Schedule a Visit page.
New patients schedule a 90-minute initial session, which gives us room to settle in, listen, and begin the work without rushing.
From there, you’re welcome to choose whichever session length feels best for future visits.
